For their help, support and generosity with KDRT's 10th Birthday Dance Party April 25, we thank the Davis Odd Fellows, and in particular their Music Committee, for making the event possible, working it, and making a generous financial contribution. We thank Davis City Council Member Lucas Frerichs, a former DMA board member, for presenting us with a City Proclamation honoring KDRT’s 10th Birthday. We also thank Sen. Lois Wolk and Assemblymember Bill Dodd for the legislative Joint Resolution honoring KDRT’s work, and Wolk’s Field Representative, Will Arnold, for presenting the honor.
On the Big Day of Giving, DMA held an event at The Wardrobe, and we thank owner Heather Caswell (a former DMA board member) and her staff for graciously hosting us. Our successful downtown live broadcast on KDRT will be the first of many, we hope. We offer our thanks to Tea List and the Farmer's Kitchen for their support. Thanks as well to the Sacramento Regional Foundation, Placer Community Foundation, and Yolo Community Foundation for creating a day that has elevated the work of non-profits in our region.
Finally, we thank our many volunteers, supporters and donors, as well as DMA's board of directors and its staff, without whom the work of the media center would not be possible. I'd like to especially recognize the all-volunteer KDRT Management Team and its dedicated, super volunteers, many of whom have shepherded KDRT through its first 10 years.
