Open Media Sessions will be providing the tools & know-how you need to migrate your old tapes into digital video.

We will cover the topic of 'backing' up your S-VHS, VHS, Hi8 and Super 8 Video tapes into Hard Drives, DVDs, and other digital formats for the 21st Century.

The Drowning Accident Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) All American Barbeque and Silent Auction (with dancing and no host bar) will take place at the Aerospace Museum August 15th. The event begins at 6pm and ends 11pm and is open to the public at a cost of $40 per person. Tickets must be purchased from a DART member prior to the event or visit their website www.dartsac.org

Need to start a website running to showcase your newest exciting project?

Open Media Sessions will go over this topic for the anyone interested getting a simple and basic website on Tuesday, August 18th. This session is geared to people who are comfortable with basic computer tasks but don't have the time to write HTML/CSS code from the ground up.

DMA's Board of Directors meets Thursday, Sept. 3 from 6-7:30 p.m in DMA's conference room. A public comment period is available at 6:10 p.m. and all are welcome.
