Sponsoring a Program
General information
You are welocme to place programming produced elsewhere on our channel if it meets our general programming requirements. We call this particular kind of outside programming Sponsored Programming. The persons who submit this programming are called program Sponsors. A DCTV Sponsor is different from what most people think of as a television sponsor -- there is no financial aspect involved. A DCTV Sponsor simply does the following:
- Reads DCTV's Rules and Policies for Sponsors.
- Signs and submits a DCTV Statement of Compliance.
- Submits a completed Cablecast Request Form with each program submitted.
- Submits a program in accordance with established procedures outlined in the Rules and Procedures document.
- Selects a "first come, first served" available timeslot from our schedule.
Questions about scheduling
We allocate regular weekly series timeslots, so many of the timeslots from our regular schedule may be reserved and unavailable. We assemble and finalize our cablecast schedule about two weeks ahead of time. Please see our programming coordinator for more info.
