<p>Training for how to crew a DCTV television production. You will learn how to run a studio camera, be a floor manager, and run the studio audio board in the control room. You’ll also learn how to set-up and tear-down the studio for a production, including the proper stowing of cables, configuring lighting, setting up microphones, and flipping the On-Air switch! Hands-on demonstration w/ Q.& A. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing!</p>

Learn the basics of proper exposure for a well-lit image and how you can adjust exposure for various effects. From Film Noir style to the use of ambient lighting in the modern documentary, lighting can affect the mood of your viewers. You’ll also see how light can be used to sculpt depth, add contrast and pattern, direct attention and more. This workshop will help the filmmaker, documentarian, and photographer understand the ways in which lighting can help the filmmaker communicate with the viewer. Lecture w/ overheads and Q&A.
