Our City leaders have historically allocated PEG monies to the support of community media. We are grateful for their support and vision in doing so. Communities without real representation on television are significantly different than those with it. Our community has access to municipal, school and public meetings; to performances by youth and professional artists; local sports programming; and information about non-profits, community organizations and local initiatives.
DMA also partners with the City on an Emergency Alert system, receiving and distributing EAS notifications via KDRT-LP 95.7 FM.
Finally, City Government Channel 16 is a partner to both public and educational access. We thank Robert Schulz and his staff for their support in broadcasting and streaming DJUSD school board meetings, archiving DMA’s election coverage, and working with us in partnership in a myriad of other ways.
