FAQ: How to find archived video/audio content for DCTV & KDRT

We get many questions about how to find a particular show to listen to, or watch.

An increasing number of local video productions are available on demand at dctv.davismedia.org. Videos are tagged and searchable (for example, search on 'homelessness' to see local shows done on that topic).  This is DMA's main site for hosting and archiving locally produced video content.

We have begun the process of digitizing and archiving DCTV's large store of local programs dating back to the early 1980s, and in time, our online archive will grow considerably.  Currently we have about 650 shows online to watch.

Programs produced in conjunction with DJSUD air on local cable Channel 17 on the Comcast system. Archiving is not enabled for this site but a program schedule is available at djsud.tv.

Many local radio programs are also archived at kdrt. org. At the top menu bar, click on Programs/Archives. Shows are listed alphabetically. When you find the show you like, click on its name. This will give you an option to "listen now" or download a podcast. Some KDRT programmers also make their programming available through iTunes.
