Davis Media Access (DMA) will screen a showing of "YERT" at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24.
"YERT - Your Environmental Road Trip): 50 States. 1 Year. Zero Garbage?" is an award-winning docu-comedy that screened to much acclaim in Davis March 24 at a Cool Davis event. The YERT website describes the film as such: "Called to action by a planet in peril, three friends hit the road - traveling with hope, humor, and all of their garbage - to explore every state in America (the good, the bad...and the weird) in search of the extraordinary innovators and citizens who are tackling humanity's greatest environmental crises. "
DMA is the non-profit media center offering community members the tools and training to develop and distribute their own media. DMA is also a partner in the Cool Davis Initiative.
