About Me

Autumn is a respected community leader, a media maker, and experienced nonprofit executive director, a role she’s held at Davis Media Access since 2007. She works collaboratively with board, staff and volunteers to create a vibrant community nonprofit that serves our region in many ways.

Autumn was a principal in the development of KDRT and has created public affairs content for the station over the years, including the highly regarded “COVID-19 Community Report” during the pandemic. She serves as executive producer for DMA’s nonpartisan election coverage and periodically hosts local studio programs including “In the Studio” and “The City Considers.”

Her community involvement includes four years as chair of Arts Alliance Davis; board service on organizations ranging from Davis Community Network to Soroptimist International of Davis; service as a Commissioner for the City of Davis’s Broadband Advisory Task Force; and board service and conference development for the Alliance for Community Media Western Region. She has served as a strategic consultant for other nonprofits and regularly mentors other executive directors.

A former newspaper journalist, her monthly column on media and telecommunications is published in The Davis Enterprise the first Friday of each month, and she has also been published in a wide range of digital and print media.

Under Autumn’s leadership, DMA has been awarded the following:

Part of that work included successfully leading an advocacy effort that resulted in $600,000 funding for the nonprofit arts and culture sector in Davis.

Autumn is an alumni of UC Davis and lives in Davis, CA, where she and her husband raised three children. She is a mixed-media artist and jewelry designer when time permits.
