From telling your stories, to communicating information and ideas, or relaying your opinions, podcasting is great way to get the word out. Podcasting is a fun and easy way of communicating with people around the world. Podcasting Basics 101 + 102 workshops will cover the basics of what you need to know to start your own podcast and get it out to the world.
What is going to be your content and who will be listening? How will they receive your podcast and listen to it? We will discuss options for the hosting and distribution of your podcast. We’ll also discuss some of the considerations of having sponsors (commercial & non-commercial) and how that can affect your distribution & potentially your content. iTunes, Patreon, Kickstarters, etc. will be discussed. We’ll also cover copyright rules regarding music, jingles, etc.
Lecture and Q&A, time also includes a break.
