DMA is governed by an active and committed group of volunteers. Kate Snow served on the board for the past four years, and as its chair for much of that time. Her second term ended in December and we bid her a fond farewell, as a board member. Her work with the school district, and connections to social justice and immigration work informed DMA’s work in those areas as well. We are grateful for her time and energy shared. Thank you, Kate!
Thanks also to Andrea Jones, who has assumed leadership as our new board chair. Andrea held this position once before, for several years, and we are grateful for her institutional memory and leadership moving forward. Andrea has a wealth of experience in government and community leadership, and works as a principal with Foley Jones & Associates, a professional consulting firm specializing in grant writing, fun development and program design.
Also joining the board is Craig Blomberg, a longtime supporter and advocate for KDRT, and chair of the KDRT Management Team for the past few years. Craig has a long history of service in our community, including his work with the Davis Human Relations Commission, and works as a Case Manager Supervisor for Sutter Davis Hospital. We are delighted to welcome him to the board, where he’ll serve along with Andrea, Valerie Jones, and Henry House. DMA will be doing further board development this year and looks forward to sharing more
