Learn the basic terminology and technology for sound recording and representation, as it applies to video production. We will cover basic mic types and what situations they are used for, as well as the options for acquiring sound (location sound, ADR, libraries, etc.) for your project. We’ll also talk about how sound works in Final Cut Pro X, as well as the basics of editing and mixing the sound and music you’ve acquired for your video production. Learn how to make yours clear and audible so it serves your production. Lecture w/ hands-on and Q&A. **Please note this workshop focuses on audio for video, not recording for podcasts, radio, or music production. This workshop is $10.
