Davis Media Access (DMA) is providing a variety of voter information resources for the Nov. 3, 2026 election under the banner of its countywide civic information initiative, Yolo Local.
DMA is based in Davis but as Yolo County’s only nonprofit community media center, works countywide. For 38 years, DMA has provided nonpartisan local election coverage as a free service provided to candidates and the community. DMA’s offerings this season include:
“Meet the Candidates” - All candidates in contested races ranging from school board to Congress were invited to record a candidate statement in DMA’s studio. DMA records each candidate on the same set and under the same set of conditions, making exceptions only for sitting members of Congress who are not in district at the time of recording
All candidates were invited. If a candidate statement is not available, it means the candidate did either not respond to outreach or failed to show up for their recording appointment.
The following statements are available for this cycle:
Congressional District 4 (Eric Jones; Mike Thompson)
Congressional District 6 (Kevin Kiley; Richard Pan)
Congressional District 8 (John Garamendi)
Davis Joint Unified School District Area 1 (Dorte Jensen; Colleen Zern)
