“In the Studio” is produced at Davis Media Access (DMA), the non-profit community media center serving Yolo County. The program provides local newsmakers and community organizations with easy ways to promote their activities and events. DMA produces four

Episode 206:Ron Clement hosts staff from Peregrine School, including Lorie Hammond, Academic Director and co-founder, Elena Whitcombe, Executive Director and co-founder, and Chris Erickson, Marketing Coordinator and elementary teacher. Discussion centers on the opening of the new South Davis campus. Peregrine School is a non-profit private school that strives to integrate the rigorous academics of a classical liberal arts education with child-centered, project-based learning.
Episode 207:Autumn Labbé-Renaulthosts Don Rudisill, Huei Young and Dr. David T. Kira. Discussion centers on “Garden Vision 2012,” an annual fundraiser that helps provide eye exams and eyeglasses for Yolo County children and older adults in need. For the past two years, Young has opened her spectacular Asian garden to contributors. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Medical Vision Technology (MVT) doctors David Kira, MD, and William Wagner, OD, who conduct the exams and provide eyeglasses. This year, guests can arrange a date of their choosing for group tours during the month of April.
