About Me

Dave is a disabled actor/filmmaker who got his start doing radio theater as a child actor and has spent 35 years as a professional performing artist and storyteller in a variety of media platforms.

He married into Davis and has lived here for the last 13 years helping to establish and aid non-profits like 3rd Space Art Collective (founding member) and now DMA.

Dave currently holds the title of Executive Director of the Yolo County Democratic Party and has been toiling for a half decade rebuilding the brand and organization so that it is competent and fiscally thriving, and with an eye on talent scouting to rebuild the room.

A special focus of giving a voice to the marginalized and voiceless is a core part of Dave’s life work and why he has joined the team at DMA. He says, "Democracy can not thrive without a strong First Amendment and the tools to exercise that must be protected and nurtured.“
