Jeff came to Davis in 1995, along with his wife and their then-5-year-old twin sons, who attended local schools and UC Davis. Along the way, Jeff did a lot of journalism for Capital Public Radio, the Davis Enterprise, and the late, lamented Sacramento News & Review. For many years, Jeff also volunteered at KDVS, hosting gospel music programs. In what now seems like a previous life, Jeff experienced the Loma Prieta Earthquake seven miles from the epicenter (while living in downtown Watsonville in an 1887 home that is now a history museum).
